Understood why we could not go in the Soprano's Family Homes, but wished we could have done a drive by at least.
On the other hand I found our Group Tour Guide very articulate. Very Interesting with his information on New Jersey as well as his knowledge of the Soprano's and the actors. It made the trip seem to fly by with his information and trivia games. With regard to the Trivia Games I thought the prizes were the best. The only thing that topped the prizes was our delicious cannoli for free on the tour.
Definitely worth doing at least once! |

My husband and I had friends visiting from London (who are avid Soprano fans) and we all enjoyed ourselves very much. Our guide was interesting and fun and we enjoyed the Soprano trivia contest conducted throughout the tour. We also enjoyed the "inside information" about the actors and show production that he provided during the tour. This tour was something a little different from the usual sightseeing and our friends went back to England anxious to tell their friends about what they saw. (Also, the cannolis were yummy!) |

I can only recommend this tour to anyone who's a big fan of the series because it really is a must. The tour is very well organized, there's plenty of locations to be seen and you get a very detailled verbal look behind the scenes. The visit inside the Bada Bing! is of course also something that's not to be missed. A simply great tour! |

Being a big fan I very much enjoyed it . Guide was informative and amusing and the Canoli near the end was a very nice touch. I would recommend it to all those that have enjoyed the Sopranos. |

We had an excellent time and would strongly recommend this tour to anyone who is a Soprano fan. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. He definitely made the tour 5 star. We are even considering doing the tour again with friends who are big Soprano fans as well!!!! We are also going to be giving this to other friends as a gift. |

I thoroughly enjoyed the tour as did my 16 year old son (and he has only watched the Sopranos a handful of times). I especially enjoyed meeting "Vito"! That really made the tour more "personal" and impressive. My son and I both enjoyed the trivia and the silly prizes. We also enjoyed seeing all the sights I see all the time on the show. The only two downsides to the tour were the traffic jam we got in and the RAIN!! Arghhhh!!!! Of course you had no control over that! :-) I'd really like to come back and do it again in better weather. Some other things I'd love to see: Tony's house! :-) I especially enjoyed my drink in the "Bing"! Every time I see the Bing on the show now, I scream, "I WAS IN THERE SITTING AT THE BAR!!!" haha
Thanks very much!!! I hope you continue to offer the tour.
Sincerely,
Sue Walker-Thornton

I would say, not as a criticism, but as a warning, that the tour does demistify the show a bit. One sees the real locations and they are not as big as portrayed in the show due to good camera work. Also when we saw Satriale's Pork Store the sign was not up, as it is a real building and the sign is part of the show. So be prepared to loose a little of the mental picture you have built up, but gain an insight into the technical side of filming the show
The tour lasts four hours. It is in a good standard coach, with a clear tour guide. it visits many locations, so bring a camera as one could take about 40 photos!
The guide was an extra from the show who had a good spiel and knew loads of information about the show and the actors. He also knew a lot about the area the show is filmed in.
There were trivia questions and little prizes too. We got to meet the actor who plays Vinny.
It was interesting, and good value for money.
If I had to change anything, I would have liked a bit more information on the real New Jersey Mafia and how the show might be based on them, if relevant. Then again, If I had thought about that at the time, there were plenty of opportunities to ask questions!

The Sopranos Tour is a great tour, especially when you love the show, you get updated with a sorts of information about the characters, the show etc. For us (we were with 6) was a meeting with Joseph R. Gannascoli, better known as Vito in the show and a visit to the Bada-Bing the best of the tour.
The tourleader was a funny guy and told us a lot about the show and the characters. A real recommendation to Sopranos fans!

The guide knew the Sopranos trivia inside and out. He was enthusiastic and knowledgable. Tour was a bit too long. |
