The tour was fantastic for any Soprano's fan. Our guide, Marc Baron, was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and patient. He must have done this tour a thousand times, but it was obvious he enjoyed sharing his knowledge by the way he made it such a personal experience.
Marc was also quite informative not only on the Soprano's but also many other aspects of movie history in both 'Joisey' and 'New Yaark'.
The Soprano's trivia during the ride was fun, as was seeing sites like the Pork Shop without its dressing as well as learning quite a bit about the filming process (proximity of the locations to each other, 'bloopers' in continuity, reuse of locations etc.)
It also really helped to see the locations and then see the clips from the show - really made it so much more exciting!
Don't go in expecting to see live filming on set and bear in mind that this is mainly an industrial area that you are touring - but we went in with our eyes open and loved every minute of it.
Being from Australia, we would not have been comfortable touring New Jersey on our own looking for these sites - this was a great way to see the neighbourhood and get a tasty cannoli in the bargain...
Thank you, guys, for the experience! |

I have to be really honest, I was not impressed.
I purchased 3 tickets as a gift for my father's birthday. Myself, my father and a close family friend are huge fans of the show. I just don't think that the show captured the greatness of the show.
I learned more about the New York skyline and the Polanski HWY than I did about the show. |

Having bought the online-tickets back in Europe, I was a bit afraid that the Sopranos tour could be disapponting but it turned out to be a highlight of our journey to New York. Our guide, John, proved he was a real fan himself, knowing lots of details about the episodes and spicing the tour with personal experience, comments and lots of background information. So: Long live Newark, long live the Badda Bing ;-) |

I really enjoyed the tour. The tour guide really added the the experience. He was extremely enthusiastic and interacted with everyone on the tour. He did a great job & held everyone's attention. It was interesting to see the actually sites & funny how they "fool" us with some of them. I would recommend this tour to anyone who is a fan. By the way, the cannoli's were the icing on the cake! Mmmmmm |

While the guide was superb, the locations visited are not really marked in such a way that can be identified with locations as they appear on the show. All signs are down so everything is left to your imagination. For all the tourist knows, you can be shown any road, any fence and any store front and be told that the particular place is a location, with the exception of Pizza Land the Bada Bing.
It was a New Jersey tour with really two or three highlights. The canoli was very good. |

My whole party especially the 15 year old loved the Sopranos tour. It was on time and full of trivia and info about sites and stars. My only problem was that there was no video as it broke and there were not enough guide books for everyone. A suggestion... perhaps make the rest stop near a good snack shop. Overall a great fun afternoon. |

Too long & tedious...spent too much time @ the scheduled stops which weren't so interesting. Tour guide was terrible - spoke way too much about himself (do we care what kind of cake he buys his daughter & when he graduated from high school??) Got off the subject (Sopranos, remember!) too often, talking about other HBO shows & old movies. TV monitors didn't work, not enough hand outs @ the end, bus was too hot - it was over 90 degrees & I was sitting near the rear of the bus.
More "meat" needs to be added to this tour - just the day before we took the Sex & the City tour & that one was so much better - lots of information, anecdotes (about the show & stars - not about the tour guide or other shows!) & tidbits - things kept popping. The Sopranos tour just dragged on & on without a point - just a long drive pointing out very obscure spots. |

The site honestly leads you to think Vito is on the tour somewhere? It was a long (4 hours) and we were also to have video entertainment showing the locatations on the bus. Well the tour guide told everyone his VCR broke (who uses VCR's anymore) they need to put that on a DVD. He also dropped the F*** bomb about 20+ times. Its cool when your trying to me a mobster but "family tours" are for families. I had my (18 year old son and his 18 year old girlfriend) with us & I don't think that is something they needed to hear all day. It got old after a while. There was also many older people on the trip and I'm sure some of the older ladies didn't want to hear that all day. It was cool in certain ways but it was not what they had listed. WOuld I honestly do it again? NO! Not worth the $160.00 + we spent |

I was pleased with the tour guides information about the show.
I was disappointed with the fact that they said a video tape would be played on the bus as the tour was taking place, but the tape player was not working.
One stop was a little longer than expected because 6 people wandered off and delayed us which meant that other stops had to be shortened like the badabing.
I would have liked to stay there a little longer than 1 beer.
Other than that there was a good variety of things to see. A good trip for a soprano fan. |
