Gary, our tour person was great. He kept everything evenly paced and was a wealth of knowledge. We saw so many sites that my husband and I would not have found on our own. It waas great to have three breaks. walking around the "Village" was my favorite. loved getting the fellof the neighborhood. Driving through the meat packing area really gave you the flavor of the whole cilty. We would totally recommend this tour to our friends. |

I would strongly recommend the tour, even if you are not a total film buff, it is a great way to get a good look at the different areas of the city.
Our tour guide was great. She was funny, enthusiastic and was able to tell us a lot about the locations.
Overall, well worth the time and money. |

I think the tours should be two, one for movie locations, the other for tv ones, each just to be more focused and precise on a single theme instead of being a miscellaneus.

Felt that more varied locations could be included - liked the idea of seeing the sites and then watching how they appear in a movie or programme. |

Our tour guide was Brian. He knew the city very well. He got frusterated with the bus driver at times for not being where he was supposed to be. The video clips were not presented in the order of the site seeing. Some of the video clips were rewound because we skipped something but, other than that the tour was good. Brian provided the participants a cookie (kids did not seem to like this type of cookie) and probably should have provided a drink of some sort with the cookie. We stopped at Rice to Riches (good if you like Rice Pudding... but everyone on the tour did not).
The tour lasted 3 hours as promised. The bus was completely full which was good! We had the opportunity to meet lots of people from different places.
This was a good tour to do on day one to get your barrings of the city. Thank you! |

I went with my boyfriend who is more into TV programs and films than I am as it was his 40th birthday. He thoroughly enjoyed it as we saw buildings used in friends, ghostbusters, Will & Grace etc. The coach stopped a few times for us to walk and see particluar sights, (and to buy some rice pudding!!) so it was not just sitting on the coach for three hours. Even though I am not much of a film buff I knew a lot of the films mentioned and the guide was very interesting in her talk and certainly knowledgable on her subject. It was a good introduction to New York and we had breakfast in The Stardust Diner (singing waitresses and waiters!!) before the coach departed which was good fun. All in all it was good value for money and a lighthearted way to start a weekend break in a great city. |
