Although we decided to do the tour in the main due to the attraction of Friends we found the whole tour to be a worthwhile adventure. The tour guide in Jessica Verdi,a local actress who was passionate about the city and the shows and films that are based there, added to the experience with her obvious enthusiasm.
There was a good mix of being on the bus and being able to get out and stretch your legs and having enough time at locations to take pictures.
On a personal note I would have liked to have visited the Brooklyn bridge as it's such an impressive structure and featured in a classic film but it was great to see parts of the city we would not otherwise have seen during our stay.Memories of great film and TV moments are rekindled with the aide of video clips
As a group we would thoroughly recommend this activity as it really gave something extra to our vacation. |

The tour was great. Our tour guide (Jessica) was excellent, very knowledgeable and provided exceptional detail without referring to any notes or script. She was able to answer all questions as well. The tour was the perfect length and we liked that it took us to many of NY's neighborhoods that we wouldn't have normally gone to. There were also the right number of stops. Particularly enjoyed the Minette stop.
Suggestions: add in a few more Friends sights if possible; add in the famous "Monk's Restaurant" from Seinfeld, make the movie/tv clips shown on the bus just a little longer.
Overall, great value for the money and very well enjoyed! |

We loved our tour with Kymberly. I was with my 16 yr old daughter on our first day of a whistle stop 3 days in NYC and the trip was a great way to counter jet lag and get our bearings. Though the weather was freezing it was great to get off the bus and stretch our legs for a closer look at some of the sights and we loved the onboard refreshments and the stop at Rice to Riches. Thank you Kymberly and Kenny! |

I thought that the only thing wrong with this tour really was that the group of a full 56+ seater bus-ful was far too many. Because of this it was easy for people at the back (ie. us) to feel left out - although to be fair, our guide, kymberley, did her best to avoid that. the times when we had to get off the bus resulted in those sitting at the front of the bus being closest to the guide, which meant that it was nigh on impossible to get what was going on most of the time.
I cannot fault the guide, just the organisation really - and it would have been nice in the freezing cold weather of NYC in January to get on the bus when we arrived rather than stand at the back of a long queue.
The fact that the tour finished 30min early thanks to the driving made me wonder why we couldn't have covered more ground - basically the tour circled the central midtown area and greenwich village. There were lots of movies that could have been added in (although I agree there have been endless movies filmed there), sites that I knew about, and the accompanying dvd was quite unimpressive (the clips were too few and too short) and the tv was just far away enough to be difficult to see clearly. What made up for this was the guide's enthusiasm and the little freebies... so I would still recommend the tour, but would just let these little things be known about. |

Our tour guide was really knowledgeable and friendly. She knew a lot of places where celebrities lived and the many films from those specific locations. Our driver was really professional and drove really smoothly through Manhattan. Would highly recommend this tour!!! Ask for Kymberly :D |

My Mom and I were in NYC from Philly for a girls weekend. We've been to the city before and have seen all the usual sites, Statue of Liberty, Empire State Bldg, etc. We wanted something a little different this time around. The tour was better than we imagined. The bus took you all through the different neighborhoods, while incorporating clips and facts of all the great locations we passed. My mom is in her 50s and I am in my late 20s and we had a blast! It's so cool to see how the movies and TV shows use different locations. Kymberly was a great tour guide! I was amazed at all that she knew. We can't wait to come back next year and bring our friends. Definitely recommended! It was the highlight our our trip. The only recommendation we have is to make the tour longer! We were sad it had to end!!!!
Thanks for a great tour! |

The tour was really good and the guide was really knowledgable. Although there are a few times where you get off the bus to take photos, most sights are seen while driving past, so if your main goal was to take photos I wouldn't recommend it. That aside it is still a really good tour! |

My 17 year old daughter and I took this tour on a rainy New Year's Day in NYC. The rain meant it was difficult to snap pictures from the bus as it was dark and there were raindrops on the windows. We were able to get out of the bus on a number of occasions and take pictures at those points. The benefit of the holiday meant that traffic was light and we could get around the City without traffic delays.
The tour was a great way of seeing parts of the City as well as spots featured in various movies/TV shows. Although I enjoyed it, I think my daughter probably appreciated it more than I did as she is more up to date with current movies/TV programs. A number of fllm clips are shown, usually when the bus is caught in traffic, so you get to see the location just visited in the various movies in which it has been used. I think this is a nice touch, but found the clips to be very brief. I would have preferred slightly more of the scene in each instance.
Well worth it especially if you are interested in movies/TV shows. |
