Won't bore you too much but the New York TV and Movie Sites tour was well worth the money we paid for the tickets. My wife is a big 'Friends' fan, and really enoyed seeing the location used for shooting the scenes that show you the Friend's apartment and the highlight for me (being a man) was seeing the Ghostbuster's fire house :)
It also covered a hell of a lot more than this in a TV show and movie sense and was in general a nice sight seeing tour of Manhattan as well. You get to stop at a few locations to take pictures and the three hour duration is probably about right.
A word about the guide (who I believe is also an actress too??) on the bus, she was lovely and very enthusiatic about that whole thing and that's something that can really only come from a love of what you do and a love of TV and film as well. Full credit to her and she kept us entertained the whole way through.
If you spend money on doing this, you won't be disappointed :) |

This tour is a leisurely drive through the city on a very nice coach bus with little snack treats and trivia games along the way, with time to take pictures at 4 stops on the trip. We had a great tour guide, Kymberly who made the trip so pleasant with her winning personality and fun facts & games. We never felt rushed but got to see the city from one end of the island to the other. If you're tired of walking around the city, this is a good tour to take a break from walking and sit to see the city INSIDE a bus with a good crowd of people. |

I brought my mom on this tour and we found it to be an entertaining adventure through the silver-screen side of New York City. We loved that fact that you showed the movie clips before and after we saw an actual location, and the stops were great! Thanks for a fun afternoon! |

although i can understand why friends would be filmed in LA and not NYC i thought it was covered too much on the tour. The tour operator was informative but compared to the See It All tour we did it just didn't compare. Not much Seinfeld info. Was it filmed in NYC or was it fake also? |

Hi,
I would highly recommend this movie tour! Especially if you are a great fan of movies and series, you will get to see a lot of the places and hear as well anecdotes about the filming! Roseanne, our guide, was very bubbly and entertaining, never tought these 3h30 would go so fast! Don't leave New York without having done this tour! |

Nice tour guided by very motivated actors!
Unfortunately the locations are not all Blockbuster locations and so not very well known by Europeans or the movies are very old.
I liked to see the Cosby House and I if I would be a Friends fan, I would have enjoyed it too.
A couple of things I missed: the Harry and Sally Restaurant, the shop around the corner from You've got mail, the zoo from Madagasgar, the Panic Room House... |

Initially when we arrived for the tour we were early, but soon Roseanne arrived and greeted everyone, she organised everyone together and completed a head count.
The bus was late but Roseanne called her office a number of times to try and find out where the bus was and unlike some other tours i have been on she kept everyone updated on the situation.
Whilst waiting Roseanne answered any questions anyone had and also handed out some Seinfield cookies.
Once the Tour began Roseanne was enthusiastic from the onset, she introduced herself and the bus driver and gave a quick run down on what to expext and what was expected from us (i.e keeping bus clean).
The tour began and at some stages throughout there were issues with trafffic but Roseanne filled these gaps with information on local areas.
Unfortunately the weather was not on our side and it rained for most of the journey, and unfortunate side effect of this was that we were unable to get good pictures of some of the main sites such as the Ghost buster building and the Coyote Ugly bar, along with many others. But Roseanne tried her best to get us pictures and not let the weather dampen our spirits.
A few suggestions I would make would be using a different bus, I have been on tours where windows at the top of the main windows could be slid open allowing for good clear shots of attractions but also allowed the windows to be closed to stop people getting wet if the rain was falling in that direction.
Other than that I would sugest investing in a number of small umbrellas to provide tourists as they leave the bus for the stops if it is raining, after our tour we had to go and purchase some dry clothes as we got completly soaked whilst visiting the "Friends" apartment. I know this is not the fault of the operator but it would be an additional service to have been provided umbrellas or ponchos for situations like this.
Other than that me and the rest of my party really enjoyed the tour and the enthusiasim of the tour guide.
Thank you very much |

A good trip with interesting facts if you are interested in where things were filmed. The video clips were good too as they allowed you to see where you were at that moment on screen. |
