We chose this tour as an alternative way to see the New York sights and have fun on the way looking at the TV and Movie locations. We really enjoyed it and Jessica our guide made it all very interesting. If you are looking for a light hearted fun tour of New York then this is the tour for you. Highly recommended. |

I booked the Movie and TV tour during the Memorial Day Weekend for my two kids 10 and 7 to show them a different side of NYC. My Family and I travel to New York often but have never taken the time to do a tour. I thought I knew a lot about New York, but this tour added several facts and locations that I had no idea about. The kids enjoyed getting off of the bus and visiting different locations and taking pictures at TV and Movie sites. My kids said it was the Best Vacation that we have had to NYC. I highly recommend this tour for Everybody! The Tour Guide was Outstanding, Funny and Very Knowledgeable. The Bus Drive made the ride Very enjoyable and comfortable. The 3 hour tour went by Too fast, We wanted to see and hear more about different locations. It was a complete joy and We highly recommend this tour! |

Tour leader knew her stuff. Stop at "Rice to Riches" was an unexpected surprise. Great way to see different parts of the city. |

This tour was great - we were given history and detailed locations. Even visited many of the locations first hand. Our favorite was seeing the friends building where we could get a good perspective and the Rice to Riches restauraunt from hitch.

We went on the same tour last year and loved Brian Taylor as our tour guide. This year we had a different guide and enjoyed it as well. The only negative was that it was basically the same tour. But I am recommending it to my friends who are going to New York in the near future.

she was informative but when you'd ask her a question she was a tad snippy (especially if it wasn't part of the tour or she couldn't answer it)....for example..i asked her the first question if we were going to see any old school stuff like frank sinatra stuff /rat pack/, etc (maybe restaurants or bars they frequented)...and she responded, "this isn't a hang out tour, this is a movie and tv location tour"....well i thought that was somewhat contradictory that she had just showed us the empire diner where betty davis used to eat breakfast everyday. (i think it was betty davis)
and then...i asked her if we were going to see any Jefferson's or Welcome Back Kotter stuff and she responded (snippy like)..."wow you really like all that old stuff don't you" (insinuating i was on the wrong tour)...well, i found that weird as well since she just got through showing us the Huxtible house, where John Lennon got shot and a few other things from the 70s and 80s......
oh well ..no big deal... |
