Universally excellent - anyone who cares for hip hop enough to see past the cristal and the grills needs to spend an afternoon with Caz and his memories.. goes a long way to pass on some much needed cultural pride re this phenomenon.
What Debra is doing is worth everyone with a beat in their soul's attention - the outreach to the NYC community is also to be commended.. make it a stop on your NYC visit..
oh and Mannas chicken is the s***!

The tour was really great and interesting. Visited loads of places with great commentary from Curtis Blow and Reggie Reg. Would definately reccommend the tour when in New York. i particularly enjoyed going to the appollo and didnt expect to be able to go in definately an added bonus and an honour.Thanks. |

Great tour. They take you to a lot of really famous/historic places in NY and give a entertaining narrative along the way. I totally recommend it. |

This is a TOP NOTCH tour! It was very organized, well planned and ON TIME!!!! We were fortunate to have Kurtis Blow and Reggie Reg. They are knowledgeable and passionate about Hip Hop Culture which made the tour truly worthwhile. Although my husband and I experienced the Hip Hop movement first hand, our 11 year old son did not. We feel that it's important for him to learn history and he did. We all enjoyed it!!! The lunch was great, the group was small and overall if you're a fan of Old School this tour is not to be missed!!!!!!!

Coming from London, and listening to hip hop for well over a decade now, we really wanted to see all the places it originated from. This tour gave us a great insight into how it got started and we could picture the scenes of the early days due to a great running commentary as we passed these places on our tour bus. These guys know what they are talking about, and tell you in an amusing and inspiring way.
The graffiti hall of fame was a highlight for me, as I had always wanted to see this.
The food in the restaurant was lovely and gave us a great chance to chat to our fellow hip hoppers on the tour.
All in all we really recommend it, and when we come back to New York, will be taking the other tours available. We cant wait to return!!! |

This was a wonderful tour. It is a must if you are planning a trip in the area. We had the benefit of having a smaller group - so the tour was very personal and we were able to really have a unique experience. The person that took us on tour was VERY knowledgeable and made sure we have an opportunity to really appreciate the culture and history of hiphop. The lunch buffet was outstanding and really made the experience significant. Don't hesitiate to take this tour, it is the real thing -- it will be one of the most memorable experiences in New York . |

This tour is so inspiring and exciting! On our tour, Reggie Reg (Crash Crew) and Raheem (Furious Five) took us on a journey to understanding and appreciating hip hop culture from its inception to its influence on popular culture today. The tour was interactive, tasty (yummy soul food in Harlem), and without doubt the highlight of our visit to New York. Thank you Hush Tours for this great experience! |
