Hush Tours, Inc. has been in operation since June 2002. We have been inviting our guests to join us in celebration of New York City as the birthplace of Hip Hop culture! We have been featured on MTV, VH1, BET and The Fuse Network along with numerous other national and international press outlets.
Our vision is to preserve the roots of hip hop culture while offering our guests an opportunity to revisit present day history. This fact finding tour allows visitors to meet, greet and be guided by hip hop legends like Grandmaster Caz, Kurtis Blow, Raheim, Reggie Reg and an assortment of others. Customers are taught the true essence of hip hop culture in an educational and entertaining format.
Hush Tours is an active member of NYC & Company, The Bronx Tourism Council, and the East Harlem Tourism Board.

Activity Description
Visit Harlem's Hip Hop church founded by Rap pioneer Kurtis Blow, where a live DJ and the choir lift their voices in rhyme, song and praise with a Hip Hop twist. These services are anything but the norm. The congregation sings while visitors participate, stomp their feet and clap their hands to the uplifting gospel movement. It's a passionate experience that will energize and uplift you.
On your trip uptown, you'll experience a one-of-a-kind church service featuring: - Live performances by Elements of Faith and the Hip Hop Church Choir (including Rappers 3 Shades of Faith)!
- Escorted transportation (from midtown Manhattan) by subway.
Please note: The Church service itself is free of charge, and anyone can attend with or without Hush Tours. With the purchase of your ticket, what you are purchasing is: - An escort from midtown Manhattan to the church in Harlem.
- The group will be escorted by a Hush Tours' staff member, who will keep you entertained and mesmerized by stories of the early days.
- Transportation via subway to the church.
What Is Not Included?
While not required, you are able to make a personal donation to the church at your own discretion. Metro card for admission to subway.
